A Systematic Review on HOX genes

HOX genes are characterized as master regulators during development. Alterations in the expression of HOX genes might lead to developmental abnormalities, while it has been reported to be associated with an increased risk of malignant tumors in humans.

Our recent systematic review aims to explore the role of HOX genes in colorectal cancer and the potential emerging role of HOXB9.
