New Publication on Metabolic-Bariatric Surgery and Pancreatic Cancer Risk: Meta-Analysis - Featured by Medscape and Wiley

I am delighted to announce the release of our latest publication, “Metabolic–Bariatric Surgery Reduces Pancreatic Cancer Risk: A Meta‐Analysis of Over 3.7 Million Adults, Independent of Type 2 Diabetes Status,” published in Diabetes/Metabolism Research and Reviews. This comprehensive meta-analysis explores the impact of metabolic-bariatric surgery on pancreatic cancer risk, offering significant insights for both researchers and clinicians.    

Furthermore, it is particularly exciting that the medical press has shown interest in our findings, with a recent feature on Medscape and a press release from Wiley. I sincerely thank my co-authors and all contributors for their invaluable efforts in making this publication possible.
